PATHOPHYSIOLOGY OF WEIGHT GAIN

Due to the above-mentioned causes, there is an accumulation of adipose tissue occurs under the skin. In the case of kidney diseases, there is fluid retention occur in the body that leads to swelling. Weight gain due to oedema is also manifested in liver diseases and cardiovascular diseases.

Underweight = <18.5

Normal weight = 18.5–24.9

Overweight = 25–29.9

Again, he will have to breathe in deeply through the other nostril while the opposite nostril is still closed with the thumb.
