Tila Taila – Sesame oil – 10 kg

Method of Preparation

Firstly, 150 litres of water should be taken, in that sesame oil should be added, mix it well. Now we should add kalka dravya in the stage of powder form. Stir it continuously. When it attains khara paka lakshanas, we can filter it.

Points to be noted:

               Gandhaka Samanya Sodhana

Four pala (200gm) of un – purified sulphur is triturated in a clean khalva yantra. The fine powder of the same is taken in a damaru yantra and subjected for 4 prahara (12) hours of moderate heat (madhyamagni). When cool on its own, the yantra is carefully unsealed and the sulphur adhered at the base of the upper pot in droplet format is neatly collected. This bright yellow purified sulphur is considered as ‘visesa sodhita gandhaka’.

Manashila Samanya Sodhana

Manashila is processed with ginger juice. This is done 7 times for 7 days. Once the process is finished the purification is complete. An orange colored smooth powder, which is pure realgar, is gained.

Kampilla Samanya Sodhana

Kampilla is subjected to bhavana with the juices of matulunga and ardraka for 3 times.

Gulgulu Samanya Sodhana

Purification done by Cow’s urine or with Triphala Guggulu.

DOSE WITH USAGE OF GULGULUMARICHADI THAILAM

               Used for external application only, not for internal administration.

               For Skin diseases, required amount of oil applied over the affected area for an hour.
