DHATAKI FLOWERS

The flowers of this herb are used as a backbone of asava and arishta preparations because the flowers act as fermenting agent hence required   to induce fermentation.

DOSE WITH USAGE OF Vidangarishta

Children (above the age of 5 years) – 2.5 to 10 ml

Adults 10 to 30 ml

Maximum Dos: – 60 ml per day

Doses: Twice a day with equal amount of water.

Best time to take after food. For better results, use  under  the  supervision of a qualified Ayurveda doctor, will deliver best cure for different ailments

SIDE EFFECTS AND CONTRAINDICATIONS

In prescribed dosage, it is not having any side effect.

Large dose taking on empty stomach cause stomach irritation and stomach upset. Diabetic patients are not indicated to take this preparation

Vidangarishta is prepared by the traditional method with special reference to Sharangdhara Samhita. These are alcoholic medicaments prepared by allowing the decoction to undergoes fermentation with the addition of honey. Vidangarishta commonly used for Krumi  (worm infection) Vyadhi.
